MBC Kids meets each Sunday morning during the sermon portion of our worship service. Our MBC Kids staff offer a safe and fun environment in which kids are loved and the Bible is taught on their level. We offer a preschool class for 3-5 year-olds and a primary class for 1st - 5th-grade students.
Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. (Mark 10:14 NIV)
What are Sunday mornings like at MBC?
When you and your family arrive, you’ll be greeted by one of our Host Team members who are there to answer any questions you may have. Be sure to pick up a gift bag from our Next Steps Station, our way of saying “Thanks for joining us!”
Because we value inter-generational worship, children stay with their parents during the first 25-30 minutes of our morning worship service. During this time, we sing songs, read scripture, pray, and keep attendees up-to-date on MBC events. We love having kids in our worship service, so don’t worry if your kids are squirmy or loud.
After our Scripture reading, parents and guardians are invited to escort their children to our church lobby where MBC Kids workers will be waiting. Parents can also then register their kids for MBC Kids with the help of one of our team members.
We’ll safely take them to one of our MBC Kids rooms which are located up the stairs and to the right (preschool) or left (primary). If you’d like to tag along with your kid and check things out, you’re welcome to do so.
During MBC Kids, our workers will ensure your children feel safe and loved and that they have a good time! We sing songs, play games, ask questions, and provide a Bible-based lesson on their level. Is your child new? They’ll get a gift bag their first time at MBC Kids.
After the worship service ends, parents can pick up their children upstairs in their respective classrooms. Don’t worry. Signs and team members can help you find your way.
