Pastor Jim is our Family Pastor which means his main responsibilities are shepherding young parents and kids. He loves thinking of creative ways to explain the Bible on a level that children can understand, and his main goal is to help every child at MBC understand the good news about Jesus and find their ultimate identity as a beloved child of God.

Jim is originally from South Carolina where he grew up in a Christian home. He attended college in Florida where he not only earned his undergrad in theology, but, more importantly, he met his future wife, Adrienne. After they both graduated from college, Jim and Adrienne were married and began their life of ministry together. Jim and Adrienne have five children: Carter, Campbell, Carson, Cate, and Canon. Jim holds both a Master of Arts in Theology and a Master of Divinity degree.
